A survey of 500 Australian women who sleep with snoring men found that 50 percent of the women said snoring had
damaged their romantic relationship, while 40 percent admitted to sleeping in a diferent room from their partner.
More than 30 percent said their parner's snoring caused arguments, and six percent revealed it contributed to a
relationship breakup. Interestingly, despite 79 percent admitting resorting to violence by kicking or elbowing their
breathless bedfellows, only 13 percent of respondents made their partner seek help from a doctor.1 |

On a related note, a German study of 401 men found that 69 percent of men with sleep apnea have erectile dysfunction.
A separate study by researchers at Cornell University revealed that as many as 80 percent of the men with abnormal or disrupted sleep patterns also had trouble
achieving or maintaining erections. The study confirmed that sleep apnea increases the risk of erectile dysfunction in
men and that there is a strong correlation between the severity of the two disorders |
